Accessibility

YZR aims to make this site usable by more people, including people with disabilities. We work toward the WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines. We do not yet have a full audit that proves we meet that level. This page says what exists today and what is still missing.

Accessibility symbol

The accessibility symbol appears in the footer of every page and links to this statement, as Brazilian law on inclusion requires for companies based in Brazil (Lei 13.146/2015, art. 63, §1).

What you can do on the site

• Enlarge text in your browser or with the site control, when it is available.
• Use the keyboard (Tab, Enter, arrow keys) on the main test screens.
• Use common screen readers; Portuguese pages are marked as Brazilian Portuguese.
• Skip to the main content with the "Skip to content" link when it appears at the top.

Known limitations

• Some information pages (for example Methodology, FAQ and How it works) are in English only. On the Portuguese menu they are marked "(em inglês)".
• Some puzzles are timed. Timing is part of the game. Before each timed puzzle we warn you and ask you to press "I am ready" / "Começar". Today YZR does not offer extra time and does not turn the clock off. If you need more time for an accessibility reason, write to hello@yzr.ca and tell us what you need. We will reply and see what we can do.
• In some puzzles something appears for a few seconds and then disappears. That is also part of the game. We warn you first.
• Drawings and matrices can be hard if you cannot see the screen. We do not yet have a full text description for every image.
• We do not yet offer Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), video captions (the site does not use video) or a Braille version.

How to ask for help or report a problem

Write to hello@yzr.ca. Please include the page address, what happened and, if you can, the browser and device you use. We reply within 5 days.
